As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled ASHP Installer to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installations. Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission ASHP systems in residential and commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance.
- System Design & Setup: Work with technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines to install systems to industry standards.
- Pipework & Electrical Connections: Carry out associated pipework, wiring, and system integration to ensure a seamless installation.
- Testing & Compliance: Perform system testing, fault diagnosis, and ensure compliance with building regulations and MCS standards.
- Customer Interaction: Provide clear guidance to customers on system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency benefits.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, electricians, and project managers to complete installations efficiently.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all site safety procedures, ensuring work is carried out in a safe and professional manner.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Certifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent), BPEC or equivalent ASHP qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience installing ASHP systems or similar renewable heating technologies.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of heat pump installations, pipework, and system commissioning.
- Driving License: Full UK driving licence required.
- Desirable: F-Gas certification, Part P electrical qualification, and experience with underfloor heating integration.
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
- Capable of lifting and handling heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
