Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Heating Engineer with an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) bias to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled engineer with a strong background in plumbing and heating, looking to specialise further in renewable heating solutions. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing ASHP systems, alongside traditional heating systems in domestic and light commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and service Air Source Heat Pumps and associated heating systems
- Diagnose and repair faults in ASHPs, central heating systems, and hot water systems
- Conduct system performance checks and ensure efficient operation
- Work on pipework, unvented cylinders, and general heating installations
- Provide expert advice to customers on energy-efficient heating solutions
- Complete all documentation and compliance reports in line with MCS and industry regulations
- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality installations and repairs
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (essential)
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in heating and plumbing
- Strong background in ASHP installations
- F-Gas qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Level 3 Heat Pump qualification (preferred but not essential)
- G3 Unvented Hot Water certification (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
